Install it in an afternoon. Test it first.

What you need

  • WordPress 6.7 or later, with pretty permalinks.
  • PHP 8.2 or later, with the sodium extension.
  • A Shopify store with a headless or custom app that has Customer Account API access.

If a requirement is missing, activation stops with a notice instead of breaking the site.

1. Install the plugin

Download a release zip from GitHub and upload it in Plugins, or build from source with composer build-prod. Release zips already include their dependencies.

2. Connect your store

Enter your store domain and app credentials in RedeemID → Settings, or define them as constants in wp-config.php. A constant always wins, and secrets saved in Settings are encrypted.

3. Tag customers in Shopify

Set up Shopify Flow, or your subscription app, to add and remove tags. RedeemID does not tag anyone itself.

4. Decide what each tag opens

Add a Membership Gate block or set access rules on posts, terms, or post types.

Before you go live

RedeemID is in early development, and breaking changes are expected before 1.0.0. Try it on a staging site first, or in the live demo, linked in the footer.

RedeemID is still being built

RedeemID is a WordPress plugin that lets customers sign in with their Shopify account and opens your site to what that account holds. It is in early development, so parts of this site are unfinished and details will change.

It is coming soon. We are looking for sponsors and for the first stores and publishers to use it.
