Sell the course in Shopify. Teach it on WordPress.
Buyers sign in with the account they paid with, and the lessons open.
The course is a product
Sell the course in your Shopify store beside anything else you sell, with Shopify’s checkout, discounts and payment methods. A Flow workflow tags the buyer when the order is paid. For a course with an end date, the same workflow removes the tag later.
The lessons are WordPress pages
Put the lessons in one category, or a post type of their own, and make it require the course’s level. Keep the introduction free so it can sell the course. A members’ home sends buyers straight to the first lesson after they sign in.
Release lessons week by week
Each lesson can open a number of days after the buyer joined: 0, 7, 14 and so on. Every buyer’s count starts on their own day, so a late buyer gets the same pace.
Workbooks and videos stay protected
Protected files check access on every download, so a shared link is no use to someone who didn’t buy. Video and audio can seek, and downloads can resume.
Sell course access with Shopify has the setup, step by step.
The limits
- RedeemID isn’t a learning management system. It has no quizzes, grades, progress tracking or certificates.
- Access follows the tag. Refunds and course ends need a Flow step that removes it.
- Flow runs on new orders. Earlier buyers need tagging once.
Try it with a development store first.
Install the plugin on a staging site, connect a Shopify development store, and sign in with a test customer account before a real customer does.
