What the plugin costs
Nothing. The plugin is free to download, use on any number of sites, and change, under the GPL-2.0-or-later licence. There is no pro edition, no locked add-on and no member or revenue limit. Every feature on the Features page is in the free download.
What you still pay for
- Your Shopify plan. Checkout, subscriptions and billing run in your store, and Shopify bills you for the plan as usual.
- Any app that tags customers. Shopify Flow, or a subscription or membership app, adds and removes the tags RedeemID reads. Those apps set their own prices.
- WordPress hosting. RedeemID runs on your own WordPress site, on PHP 8.2 or later.
RedeemID takes no cut of a sale and sends no data to a RedeemID service; there isn’t one. Your site talks to your Shopify store directly.
Paid help
The only paid work will be services, such as setup help, for stores and agencies that want someone to do the connection for them. To ask about it, see Contact and support.
Sponsorship
The project is looking for sponsors to fund its development. Sponsors and first stores says what that involves.
The limit
Free doesn’t mean finished. RedeemID is in early development and breaking changes are expected before 1.0.0, so try it on a staging site with a Shopify development store first.
